KG by Kurt Geiger ‘Esme’ studded platforms

Meet Kurt Geiger’s ‘Esme’. Esme is one of those shoes which lures you in with her soft beige and eggshell upper – so far, so very soothing – and hits you smack in the face with a bright yellow heel. And OK, these shoes won’t actually smack you in the face: that would be really painful. The heels are a little bit unexpected, though, and although I do like them, my natural aversion to anything neon tells me that I would have liked them even more without the yellow.
